Snacks 2022

by Inapub Team
"Customers will be looking for snacks to sate their hunger, to give themselves a treat, or for healthier options. Offer a selection to meet all these needs."
In the Spring edition of our magazine we have the feature looking at the world of snacks.

In our Indies Choice Survey 92 percent of pubs that responded said they served bar snacks. Probably not a surprise to many of us! Given so many pubs are serving snacks how can you make the most from selling them. In the snacks feature in the Spring Edition of our magazine KP snacks have given some tips, including catering to a range of occasions. “Customers will be looking for snacks to sate their hunger, to give themselves a treat, or for healthier options. Offer a selection to meet all these needs.”

More and more we are seeing the importance of offering healthier options to your customers. The good news is there are a number of new healthy snacks now available with Graze being the most recent. They have launched their popular crisp alternative, Crunch, into the pub market. Featuring 30% less fat and salt than crisps, it’s viewed as the ideal snack for the health conscious as well as being vegan friendly

As well as health the move to more premium experience is a continuing trend and we have seen this in our survey results with Pipers voted the most popular crisp brand. However its clear that trusted brands still feature heavily when customers are making a choice of snacks. In the world of nuts, KP was voted the most popular nut snack option.
