Beer is an essential ingredient in a good pub or bar and for many real ale leads the way as a uniquely British experience that you can only get in a pub.

In recognition of its unique place in our lives CASK ALE WEEK will be running this month. This is an annual celebration of our national drink – cask beer! and an opportunity for pubs and bars to get involved and encourage their customers to come and try and also promote real ale. It runs from 22^nd September to 2^nd October and is a great opportunity to run events in your venue to encourage new customers to come and visit.

There are so many great real ales out there for you to serve for example why not try ‘Long Road Home’ from Loch Lomond Brewery which was recently awarded the Overall Champion Cask Gold in the SIBA Scotland Independent Beer Awards 2022, the beer industry’s most prestigious expert-judged awards. The 12% Scotch Ale impressed judges with huge flavours of molasses, sweet malt and a distinct vanilla richness from the Speyside Whisky Cask barrel-ageing.

You don’t have to be a member of CASK MARQUE who run CASK ALE WEEK to take part and even better they will promote your event or activity for free on their events map on the CASK ALE WEEK website.
